Other Conditions:
  • For placement in lecturer pool beginning Spring 2019 and for future semesters. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Teach upper division courses in European or World / Comparative history with a European component. Other related duties, including meeting course requirements as established by the department, preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours. May include instructional assignments involving distance education.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. PhD in History
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Prior university teaching experience, demonstrated teaching ability.
  2. Publications preferred.
