Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Compile data to assist with disaggregating student major information
  2. Monitor, track, and initiate contact with prospective CTE Maui College majors
  3. Organize meetings with CTE Program Coordinators to identify possible programs entrance requirements
  4. Ability to supervise student assistants to disaggregate data
  5. Ability to extract data from STAR and provide written reports and graphs
  6. Assist with graduation applications for certificate and degrees
  7. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, Human Resources (to include both CTAHR and Personnel) or related field and 0 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for N/A; or equivalent education/training or experience.
  2. Functional knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in post secondary community college admissions demonstrated by knowledge, understanding and ability to apply concepts, terminology.
  3. Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and systems associated with post secondary community college admissions.
  4. Demonstrated ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve the full range problems that may commonly occur in the post secondary community college admissions.
  5. Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
  6. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.
  7. Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.
  8. Any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
  9. Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
  10. For supervisory work, demonstrated ability to supervise student assistants and manage employee relations for students.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of principles and practices involved in the post secondary community college admissions.
  2. Knowledge of the CTE program requirements.
  3. Knowledge of Carl D. Perkins grant.
