- This position is a casual, temporary position that shall not exceed 89 days and can be terminated at any time. Subject to availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
- 1. Under general supervision, work with Web and Mobile Development group to support the ongoing development of the University of Hawai‘i mobile app and related projects.
- 2. Other duties as assigned
- 1. Possession of a pertinent baccalaureate educational degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
- 2. Considerable working knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- 4. Basic understanding of CSS-pre-processing platforms (such as SASS) and build system tools (such as gulp).
- 5. Understanding UX/UI best practices
- 6. Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
- 7. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals.
- 8. Any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
- 9. Ability to work a variable work schedule, including rotating shifts, and outside normally scheduled work hours including day/night/weekend/holidays as directed or required.
- Desirable Qualifications
- 10. Basic understanding of PHP.
