Duties and Responsibilities
  1. 1. Under general supervision, work with Web and Mobile Development group to support the ongoing development of the University of Hawai‘i mobile app and related projects.
  2. 2. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 1. Possession of a pertinent baccalaureate educational degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
  2. 2. Considerable working knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  3. 3. Considerable working knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  4. 4. Basic understanding of CSS-pre-processing platforms (such as SASS) and build system tools (such as gulp).
  5. 5. Understanding UX/UI best practices
  6. 6. Demonstrated ability to interpret and present information and ideas clearly and accurately in writing, verbally and by preparation of reports and other materials.
  7. 7. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team leaders and members, and individuals.
  8. 8. Any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
  9. 9. Ability to work a variable work schedule, including rotating shifts, and outside normally scheduled work hours including day/night/weekend/holidays as directed or required.
