- For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2016 and for future semesters. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds. Day and/or evening classes.
- Teach undergraduate American Studies courses or equivalent.
- Other related duties, including preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours.
- Master's degree in American Studies (or applicable field).
- Prior graduate studies in American Studies.
- PhD in American Studies (or related field) or in PhD American Studies program (or related field).
- Knowledge in appropriate field as evidenced by coursework.
- Prior relevant university teaching experience in the field.
