  • For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2016 and for future semesters. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. 1. To teach one section of SOCS 180: Introduction to International and Global Studies (for the course description see UHM course catalogue).
  2. 2. Other related duties, including preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 1. MA or Ph.D. in a social science discipline or related field.
  2. 2. Expertise in globalization issues from multiple perspectives (social, economic, political, cultural).
  3. 2. If qualified applicants are not available, those not meeting minimum requirements may be considered.
